Alatau – 2025 International Tournament, Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Masters (35 years and older), and National Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Amateurs (18–34 years)

The Kazakhstan Masters Athletics Federation (KMAF) announces the start of registration for the summer Masters Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan (35 years and older) and the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among amateurs (18-34 years old) in athletics, which takes place on the KMAF website at: https://kmaf.kz

A special feature of these competitions is the holding of the Alatau – 2025 international tournament within the framework of the championship, which is included in the Unified Republican Calendar (URC) of mass sports events, and to which masters athletes from all over the world over the age of 35 are invited, including those located in our country, as well as persons with residence permit status. Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have registered for the Kazakhstan Masters Championship participate in the tournament automatically.

The competition will be held on July 6-8, 2025 at the stadium of the Almaty Olympic Training Center, located at 105/1 Bekzat Sattarkhanov str., Almalybak village, Karasai district, Almaty region (before reaching Kaskelen).

For participants of the Kazakhstan Masters tournament and Championship, arrival day is July 5, competition days are July 6-7, and departure day is July 8.

For participants of the RK Amateur Championship, arrival day is July 6, competition days are July 7-8, and departure day is July 9.

The tournament program includes such disciplines as hurdling at distances of 80 m, 100 m, 110 m. Men (70 years and older) and women (40 years and older) are allowed to run the 80 m distance, men (40-69 years old) and women (35-39 years old) are allowed to run the 100 m distance, and only men of the 35-39 age category are allowed to participate in the 110 m distance.

Just like last year, the program includes steeplechase at distances of 2000 m and 3000 m. Men 60 years and older, women 35 years and older, and amateurs 18-34 years old are allowed to run the 2000 m. Only men aged 35-59 years old and amateurs aged 18-34 years old are allowed to participate in the 3000 m running.

Participants of the competition can choose from one to five types of program, excluding relay races. Participants who have previously paid the membership fee for 2025 are exempt from paying it at these starts. The amount of the cost of participation and for each type in both the international tournament, as well as in the Championships is indicated in the relevant regulations published below, which we ask everyone to read carefully.

Each participant is personally responsible for their own health. The confirmation is the provision of a corresponding receipt to the mandate commission. The receipt form is also posted below.

The participants of the Championships, taking part in our starts for the first time, are registered on the website. To do this, you will need to create your personal account through the “Login” button, which you can find in the main menu bar. The amount of the participation fee and for each type of program depends on the passage or refusal of KMAF membership.

We remind you that only after the payment has been made, the participant is considered registered. This is confirmed by the display of participant data in the General List of Participants (Public Table) and start-up protocols, which are generated automatically.

At the same time, foreign participants of the tournament may have technical problems that do not depend on our payment system when paying the participation fee and for the types of program. As before, registration for the relay races is displayed in a separate form. We remind you that it is allowed to apply for a team from only one city/region, with the exception of teams from foreign participants who can apply manually on the day of arrival. It is also not allowed to enter the overall team of amateurs (18-34 years old) and masters (35 years old and older). Only after the payment has been made, the relay team is considered registered. This is confirmed by the display of the team’s data in a separate table and the start protocol, which are generated automatically. The age category in which the relay team will compete is determined by the youngest member of the team.

Registration for these competitions is valid until June 22, 2025 inclusive.

The participants of the competition, admitted out of the competition, make only a target contribution of 6,000 tenge in a separate registration form with the possibility of choosing no more than 5 types of programs.

After payment, the participation fee and for each type/types of program are non-refundable.

The competition program will be published as soon as possible.
